The Election Day Hangover

Did everyone go vote today?

I did. Thank god for the three hours of consecutive voting time. I had pre-arranged with my manager that I would vote in the morning. I used that extra sleep-in time to nurse my poor hangover from last night and then drag my sorry ass into my polling station. I take my civic duties very seriously.

As for showing up to work today, albeit a couple hours late, it turns out that I was the only gay person in the entire OPS (Ontario Public Service) who didn't call in sick. I must be insanely loyal. Actually, I'll chalk that up to stupidity.
