The Summerlicious Gorge-Fest, Part 4
Had lunch with my manager to discuss my performance appraisal and objectives. Ugh. At least we did it off-site at a Summerlicious lunch to distract us from the banal business at hand.
We dined at a just-over year-old restaurant near our office called Sage which is known for its extravagant Toronto Film Festival parties. The place was packed, the service slow, and food lackluster, but it was the best $10 I had spent all day. [Author's Note: I didn't actually spend the $10, my manager did. I love free lunches!]
My meal consisted of:
Gazpacho (Cold Tomato Soup with Cucumbers)
Main:
Roasted Chicken Breast in a White Wine Lemon Pepper Sauce, served on Spinach Spun Rice
Dessert:
Chocolate Torte
