The Amazing Race

I've been hooked on this reality/game show television series since its fourth inception last year. The Amazing Race 5 is a rather boring name for a really exciting show. The thought of racing around the world with a partner, working together to outwit, and outrun other teams seems like it would be the time of my life. I can only pray for the day when they accept Canadian citizens to the show. I wonder who I'd pick for my partner in crime?

Anyhow, last week's show had me on the edge of my seat. My favourite team, the hot blonde twins Kami and Karli, were nearly eliminated in the last few nail-biting seconds of the show. For such athletically-capable girls, they really have no sense of direction. In the last episode alone, I think they got lost about three times. Hopefully the next episode will show them moving out of last place and using their heads a little more.

One subplot of note: Christie and Colin are several hours ahead of the other teams. I don't think I've ever seen a lead quite that large. It'll be interesting if they can capitalize on it in future episodes.

I don't watch much television nowadays, but I LOVE this show!
