The Amnesia Party

Even though I was coming down with a cold... even though I had a very long and tiring week, I went out to party with my friends. I figured my soul needed healing much more than the rest of me.

We checked out the 6th Anniversary Amnesia Party at Kool Haus on Friday night. DJ's Starting from Scratch and Attitude were spinning some Old School, Classic House, Retro, New Jack Swing, self-named "Honky Hits", and Classic Slow Jams.

It was AWESOME. I love old school, and these guys do old school like no other. It reminded me of the golden years in high school and university; back when I was young and naive.

The icing on the cake was seeing Cece Peniston perform live! You must remember her. Her most famous hit was that awesome track from 1992, "Finally". Nostalgia is the medicine that cures even the most ailing of broken hearts.

I danced ALL NIGHT LONG. I didn't stop at all, thanks to some awesome tunes, wicked dance partners, and Red Bull. When I dance.. nothing else matters. Just the music.

I didn't even drink or smoke! And THAT my friends, is a testament to how much I've changed. Weird eh? So far so good. Keep the good vibes flowing.
