The Recruiter

Hahahaha.

In my grief over my recent breakup, I've been leaning heavily on my friends, family, and co-workers. I'm pretty lucky that I'm surrounded by such a caring support network.

I also got caught up with my ex-girlfriend, Laal. She and I basically have an MSN friendship right now since she's studying overseas. We've only met up once in the past two years since we broke up, and that one meeting was kinda fun. I remembered why I liked her as person... although I know that we'd never work out in a relationship. It just was not a good scene when we were together.

Anyway, I had always thought that our time together was a fluke. When I met her, she was bi-curious. We had one drunken night of fun in the summer of 2003. That was then followed up with six weeks of utter confusion known as "dating for the wrong reasons". Then she dumped me, and then moved on to some guy. I had always chalked up our relationship as an experiment on her part.

Well, boy was I surprised tonight. She revealed to me that she has since had at least one girlfriend and said she'd probably go "full les" sometime soon.

Aha!

I had always said I wouldn't be the kind of girl that would prey on straight girls and turn them gay. I just didn't have that in me.

Well, I may not be THAT girl... but I do know one thing: I have one recruiter point!
