The Cabin Fever

Okay, so I haven't been outside since last week, with the minor exception of going to the doctor's on Wednesday. Now you can chalk it up to my cabin fever or my compulsive need to socialize, but I really need to get out.

But sadly, I don't wanna leave just for the sake of leaving. I feel like I need a destination or a partner-in-crime. I'm also still recovering from being sick for so long. I don't want a relapse. Sigh. I'm lame.

So instead, I'm staying inside working on more writing, and polishing up my various web sites. I COULD do laundry, but that would be really boring.

The Surreality of Sickness

I've been sick now for one week solid. It's just a cold I think, but for some reason this strain is highly virulent. I'm caving and finally seeing a doctor, because after days of hermitage, sleep-deprivation, and hack attacks, I have now developed pink eye in both my eyes.

In homage to Luis Bunuel's infamous surrealist film "Un chien andalou", here is my crusty eye. Don't worry, I'm not so desperate as to take a razor to it. Ugh. Gross.
